My name is Father Isaiah Timba from the Catholic Diocese of Mendi in Papua New Guinea (PNG) which is located north of Australia. I have been involved in peace promotion programs aimed at tribal conflicts in the areas of the Hela Province of PNG. Tribal wars take many human lives, destroy homes and farms, and demolish service entities like schools and clinics.

We are seeking to keep engaging in peace mediation and negotiation programs between warring tribes. We also aim to help families resettle in their homelands and receive counselling for having lost loved ones in the war.
