Though very young and still small in number, Capuchins in Uganda have a bright future. As in neighboring Tanzania and Kenya, vocations are surging, and most of the young men who seek to become Capuchin friars are turned away. The Seraphic Mass Association has helped with several projects, including buying a herd of cattle for the seminarians to milk and harvest. A clinic in a rural area was built by the SMA. The Ugandan Capuchins have a great future and need our help.
