For the faithful people of Holy Family Parish in Buvussi, Papua New Guinea, the church is the center of their Catholic life. Despite poverty and years without a resident priest, they have remained strong in their faith.
Today, Fr. Nicholas, a Capuchin missionary from Kenya, faithfully serves his parish and six remote outstations. As a former construction engineer, he will ensure that every gift is used wisely and responsibly.
But the need is greater than repairing a roof. These devoted Catholics need a new church, a place where families can worship with dignity and future generations can grow in faith.
Your generosity will do more than provide building materials. It will strengthen a faithful Catholic community and help ensure that the sacraments and the teachings of the Church continue to nourish God's people for years to come.
Please help us give these faithful Catholics a church worthy of their enduring faith and hope.
